Building on her lengthy career in international development, Dr. Thomas continues to work on issues related to inclusive economic growth, gender equality, social justice and social cohesion.In leading the Women’s Economic Imperative, she works to help increase opportunities for the economic empowerment of disadvantaged and under-represented groups globally. Toward this end, she promotes robust business enabling environments and entrepreneurship ecosystems that create opportunities for diverse, transformational entrepreneurs.

In addition, Dr. Thomas provides mentorship for professionals, academics, and students with the goal of helping to deepen the pipeline of diverse professionals and entrepreneurs.
